THE ULTIMATE FITNESS CHALLENGE

Race Rita provides a unique fitness experience like no other...
There's no fixed finish line — just you against Rita; a relentless virtual competitor who gets faster as you get slower. Your race ends when Rita catches you.
While no one can escape Rita, the stronger and fitter you are, the longer you'll last.
Race Rita isn't just about fitness racing; it's about breaking barriers. Through our charitable Race Rita Foundation we're also committed to supporting people facing challenges in their health, fitness and wellbeing.
Discover more about our innovative and exciting Triple B race format below or dive straight into our upcoming events to find your next challenge!

Triple B is Race Rita's innovative and exciting race format, providing 3 components to test and challenge your fitness (BURN, BUILD, BALANCE) and nine functional movements:
BURN your lungs with 3 cardio machines
BUILD your strength with 3 macebell exercises
BALANCE your core with 3 more macebell moves
Repeating rounds escalate in rep-count every three levels, pushing you until Rita catches you.
Your mission is simple...
-
Complete the 3 exercise stations for BURN, BUILD and BALANCE in each level
-
Smash through as many levels as you can
-
Evade Rita for as long as possible before she catches you!
BURN. BUILD. BALANCE. Repeat!
B
BURN
BURN your lungs
Take on three Concept2
cardio erg machines:
-
Bike
-
Ski Erg
-
Rower
Each station pushes your heart rate and lungs as you cover 300 metres per station in every level
B
BUILD
BUILD your muscles
Tackle three strength-building stations with your macebell:
-
Squat + Switch
-
Shoulder Press + Bicep Curl
-
Single-arm Chest Press
The rep count starts small in Level 1, increasing by 3 reps every 3 levels as the challenge intensifies
B
BALANCE
BALANCE your core
Challenge your core stability with
three more macebell moves:
-
Reverse Lunge + Uppercut
-
Bear Hold + Pull-through
-
Sit-up + Tap
Each movement begins with a low rep count in Level 1, increasing by 3 reps every 3 levels to test your grit
MEET YOUR MACE
You'll be given a macebell for your race, which you'll use in the three BUILD movements and the three BALANCE movements.
A macebell combines elements of a kettlebell and a barbell, featuring a long handle with a weighted ball at one end.
Choose the weight of your macebell according to your experience and ability level, choosing from:
-
4kg
-
6kg
-
8kg
-
10kg
-
12kg
Although guard it as best you can... because Rita wants her mace back!
